“I have known Jon Ross for three years now. He has always been an artist, but it has been incredible to see his work progress to the masterpieces they are today. One of the greatest compliments I can give is that in a (chapel) audience of 3,000+ everyone was caught up in his creation of paint on canvas. A lot of the time, students will do homework or cram in that last bit of knowledge before a class, but Jon Ross had the attention of everyone in the auditorium. I am amazed at Jon as a person and an artist- so much that I even have one of his 4’x4’ paintings Who I AM hanging on my wall in my office. If you have the opportunity to see Jon Ross in Action I would strongly advise taking advantage of it.”

“I was very pleased by my experience with Jon Ross. It was easy to imagine with him the painting that would fit the point I was trying to communicate during our chapel time at Harding. He is a humble person who relates well to young people, professional and mature so that he was easy to work with, and a very talented young man artistically. I’m proud he is using his gifts to serve God in this way. I highly recommend using him in any way you can.”

“I have known Jon Ross for over three years as a student of mine in the Department of Art and Design at Harding University and also last summer, while he was a student with me at Harding University in Florence, Italy. Jon is not only a talented artist but is a Christian leader. His sermons through visual art are inspirational and uplifting not only to students but to an older population of adults as well. |

“I intend for each painting to contain two messages. The initial message transforms into a whole new message just as the Christian message transforms us into a new creation. I have painted in front of many audiences and have been able to witness the impact the message and performance each painting has on viewers.” - Jon Ross |

“I design the paintings with the intent of getting across a message about Christianity. By the audience’s response I know that art is a very emotional and thought stimulating experience that can keep an audience captivated. A Christian message combined with live art makes for an awesome experience.” All paintings are performed in front of a live audience in the span of 15-30 minutes depending upon the painting and occasion. Most paintings are 6 feet by 4 feet acrylic on stretched canvas. |
