Background Quinn the Eskimo was painted after my trip to Alaska. While there I was fascinated by the Eskimo’s art styles. I believe that the shapes in Quinn the Eskimo are reminiscent of the Eskimo’s style. The figure’s pose is stiff as though frigid and her hair hangs as though she is the Pocahontas of the Northern Lights. |
