· I've painted for various events including but not limited to: · During the painting, there can be speaking or singing and scripture reading. · After a painting I like to speak for an amount of ~ 5 minutes to at least explain the painting and the inspiration behind it, but I have been asked to speak for amounts of up to 45 minutes. That would be up to you. Be sure to visit the Service List for pictures of the action! |

Jon begins to set up for the painting 4 hours before it is time to paint. To prepare his canvas, Jon will need a room with enough floor space to set a 6’ by 4’ canvas on the floor. If Jon is flying to your event, wood will need to be purchased on location due to airline regulations. The wood must be cut a certain way, so a table saw will be needed. Please have wood cut by his time of arrival (See illustration below)
Jon uses acrylic paint, so the painting is mostly dry after an hour of drying. You can hang the painting using a variety of techniques. Jon suggests either: use a level and simply use two nails or screws in the wall and rest the underside of the top piece of wood on the nails. OR Buy two corner mounts at Hobby Lobby. Attach them to the two top corners of the wooden frame and hang on two nails appropriately placed. |
