There is a current in all things. Even the things that slow the current are themselves a part of the current. They are a slower current. Slow currents and fast currents coexist like harmony and melody they complement each other to create interest and beauty. This is why cascading water fascinates me. Test it out. Walk a mile and see how your movement is affected by objects moving slower. There are so many more examples. All things in this universe are moving. A tree may not seem to move from its position, but it sits on a tectonic plate which is moved by magma flowing beneath it. The magma is part of the Earth’s consistency which is constantly moving. The tree is made up of cells which slowly move. The tree slowly expands becoming wider and taller. It is only slow because we judge its progress by means of our point of view. Life is orchestrated by movement. -Jon Ross
